| i was reading over old journal entries, and this one popped out at me.... from jan 15.2007 i was driving home from the store with my little seven-year-old sister in the back seat listening to the oldies station when suddenly, out of the blue, she said "do you know that God knows you before you are born?" i turn down the music, surprised and her statement "yes, i do know that..." she continues "but did you know that God knows all about you--even before you are in your mommy's tummmy!?!" she is in amazement about this "yes, isn't that cool?" "and did you know that He knows all of the things you are going to do, and all of the plans He has for you, before you know them!?" whoa, i think, way to go sunday school teacher! "God's pretty cool like that..." dang it, i am not prepared with any cool responces at all! she stops, sits back and thinks before continuing "how can God think about all of the people in the whole world, all at the same time, all on the same day!?" is there any way to explain that? "that's how awesome God is! and he loves everyone just the same...all of those people..." she is quiet for some time, and i think that the conversation has ended, but suddenly she bursts out the obvious answer to her question "God must have a BIG HEAD!"

same old tarah. same old struggles. same old never changing but wanting too.
here's to a better 2008! hurrah for family coming in! i'm excited for pamela and marcella! i'm totally excited for thayne, erin and hudson! i can't wait to see that kid!! oh, and guess what....i'm now wearing adult pants (that sounds so wrong) and living on my own. never thought that would happen. i guess my life plan wasn't what it was supposed to be.....here's to portraits with a stuffed bear. favorite quote this week: "man, sometimes i really wish my brain would work faster than my mouth!"
